- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- Registered as a Nurse / Midwife with the State Nursing Council.

- Registered as a Nurse / Midwife with the State Nursing Council.
- 1-year experience as a nurse in a 50-bed hospital.
UPSC ESIC Nursing Officer Age Limit
- Minimum Age (For All Candidates) – 18 Years
- Maximum Age (For GEN / EWS) – 30 Years
- Maximum Age (For OBC) – 33 Years
- Maximum Age (For SC / ST) – 35 Years
- Maximum Age (For PwBD) – 40 Years
- Age will be calculated as on 27 March 2024.

The selection of candidates will be as follows.:

- The test will be objective-type questions with multiple choices of answers.
- The test will be conducted in English.
- The test will be of 2 Hours duration
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of 1/3 of the marks assigned to that question.
- If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question.
